Body & Meditation
Find your way back to the stillness that was always there — through the body, the breath, and present awareness.
Meditation isn’t exotic or special. It’s simply the act of being present to your own state — right here, right now.
When we were very young, that open, settled state was natural. Life — its pressures, demands, and accumulated tensions — gradually covered it over. This workshop is about uncovering it again.
We’ll work directly with the connection between body and mind — not as theory, but as lived experience. Using mindfulness of breath and classical Qi Gong practice, we create the conditions for the nervous system to regulate, the body to soften, and the mind to find its natural resting place.
What we’ll cover
- Aligning the body to stabilise the mind
- Crane Breathing — a classical Qi Gong method
- Nervous system regulation through breath
- Mindfulness vs Concentration — how to begin
- A Qi Gong drill to prepare body for stillness
- Working with impatience and stress in practice
- Seated and standing approaches to meditation
“The calm state isn’t something you have to build. It’s already there. We’re simply going to help you find it.”
